Chris Walton - Woman with Longest Finger Nails in the World !

Could you let your finger nails grow longer than you ? like, almost double than your height ? If you say it is impossible, you are absolutely wrong ! A woman from Las Vegas has made this possible !


Chris Walton, a 45 year old woman from Las Vegas hasn't clipped her nails for last 18 years ! And now these finger nails measure 10ft 2in on her left hand and 9ft 7in on her right hand, winning her the title 'Woman with Longest nails in the World' !


 After 18 years, finally her care for nails has paid off. She was officially announced as record holder for longest nails by the Guinness spokesperson, Stuart Claxton, at a New York city event, where her spectacular finger nails, polished with shiny golden yellow were displayed to public.

Claxton called Ms Walton a 'Unique Beauty' while presenting her with the Guinness World Record Certificate.

The previous record holder was from Salt Lake city named Ms. Lee Redmond, whose nails measured 28 feet in total ! But unfortunately, she lost her nails in a car accident in 2009, which proved fortunate for Chris Walton.

Chris Walton is a professional singer. It is not so easy to take care of these long nails, a little recklessness could cause breakage of these nails. Work becomes lot more difficult to do, from opening door to texting on a mobile phone. Yet, she does make up on her own and text on mobile phone using her knuckles.



As she mentioned, getting change out of her pocket is one of the most difficult task she had to face. But she has managed it well for last 18 years and now, after winning the Guinness world record title, she is planning to get rid of these nails but want to do it slowly as she is used to 'naily life' !

Breast Implants are Safe, But risks followed !

After approval of silicone-gel filled breast implants in november 2006 in US for women aged 22 and above, many of the women have undergone breast implantation surgery. During last year itself, 390,000 breast implant operations were carried out in US, and most of the women who had undergone operation were interested in increasing their bust size ! These Breast implants are safe, but are not for life long, says experts.

Life long use of breast implants could lead to significant local complications ! Local complications and adverse outcomes include capsular contracture, reoperation, removal, implant rapture. Many women also reported to experience breast pain, wrinkling, asemmetry, scarring and infection.There are no problems like breast cancer or infertility associated with breast implantation, but current study report is not sufficient to decide. These women are even more likely to get another surgical operation within 10 years from implantation.

Most women report high level of satisfaction about their figure and shape, feel and size of their implants. They believe, it has improved their sex life. But the increased risk of suicide in women with breast implants tells a different story, no connection has found in between though. It is better to undergo MRI scan regularly to detect silent raptures. And don't think that breast implants are for life long, better remove them within 10 years from implantation to avoid risks.

Even though there are many issues found with breast implantation, women are not bothered with these matters. There are still plenty of women who undergo breast surgery every year ! It would give you a good image, but be careful of local complications, which could destroy your normal life !

“Women who have enrolled in studies should continue to participate so that we may better understand the long-term performance of these implants and identify any potential problems.”, says the people at FDA.

In a wireless world...

       Man has made infinite inventions in last 5 decades. Technology is updated every minute. The stuff which is new this moment, would become obsolete the next ! From the day Television invented, life has changed a lot. It was a revolutionary invention in those days.

   There were only few tv channels in 60s but today there are around 500 ! So now guess a life without remote ! how does that sound ? If you had no remote, you had to get up from couch to change every single channel. That is really annoying. When remotes arrived first, they were not capable of jumping randomly to desired channel, one had to travel through sequence of channels.

Ok, stop imagining, I read an article about tv remote control, its origin and avatars.
